Service now warning

I've read other threads on resetting this and tried what was suggested but it hasnt worked! One said about pulling the clock set button out but its a turning one if you know what i mean! Any ideas? (its a 02 plate Bora TDI 130 tiptronic)

Put the key in the ignition
Press and hold the trip reset button whilst you turn the ignition on
Once the ignition is on, release the button
Turn the clock button clockwise
Turn the ignition off

Turn it back on, and it should be gone

Thanks for that, will give it a try next time it comes on! (had it serviced on saturday so its off now)
