Does anyone know how to reset the service reminder without going to the dealer on a 2001 A6 2.7T manual trans.

    ...or an RS6?

the garage that services my car is a specialist tuner, if a little old school - and they can't get it to reset, so I always have it telling me it needs a service!

Does it not tell you in the owners manual? On my B6 S4 it certainly does.

If you do reset it yourself, be aware that it will simply use the time and distance regime, rather than the LongLife regime!
