    Bit of a weird question but were will i be able to buy a blocked DPF yes thats right a blocked one hahaha

    There is however method in my madness

    Any help appreciated

    i would go to a few garages and main dealers and see what they have and leave details for them to contact you as and when they get one in.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    no idea mate, cats go for a few quid as they have precious metals inside, don't know what dpfs are made of .

    Because i have been told that at the moment you can get away with cutting open the dpf smashing out the middle re welding it as it is only a visual check but the rules will change so if i find a blocked one i dont have to wreck my one if the rules do change in which case a dpf will cost me a fortune were as a scrap one or blocked would not be worth much i would not of thought just scrap value so if it did change i had my perfectly fine one to put back on

    there is a problem i can see, the dpf sensor. it measures the pressure before and after the dpf,so it will know what you have done and put the light on.

    Get it mapped out mate so the car isnt looking for it

    I suppose but there are worse things going on in the world than me taking the dpf out and mapping it out but i see your concern
