Jeebus. Mine's gonna light up like a christmas tree after all this tinkering on VCDS. On the rear end and hopefully not on the dash though.

So does yours not flash Brycie?

Possibly it does Gup, I shall have to give it a go. I've only ever had to brake hard once or twice in it, so I'm not sure. I'll try next time I'm out in it onnmy own.

Mine doesn't well I'm not sure as the indicator led thing on the dash cluster doesn't flash so it could be flashing

My A3 doesn't do it either to the best of my knowledge but its the same scenario as the A6.

    Hi ya Paul & Chris...

I'll try and make videos of adaptations channels in model 09 & 46... maybe we can all compare?

There's been a few times discussion of how changing stuff in even module 09 (J519) makes different bulbs come on,etc... but no one seems to be giving any detailed info...

I've also been googling this morning for info on adaptations maps/info on modules [01], [09], [46] and not really found something all encompassing... I may drop Ross Tech an email to see if they will give any info ...

Whatever I have posted so far has been googled/from manual or another forum...

Concerning hazard light flashing IIRC this was things I read in the owners manuals and like I said in post 11 "IIRC"...

So far I have never needed to brake hard enough yet in either vehicle, but will be checking tonight both functions if I can find a camera person/setup tripod correctly ...

You'd know if it was; the hazards start flashing in the same way as if you'd switched them on yourself, dash light etc.

    Now this is very strange...

I have never done this on my car...

Was the previous owner a meddling owner ...

    Next the module id...

So looks like original factory flash from the date stamp... as to above edit already in place ...

Here is my video of J519, Module 09 adaptations...

As most stuff have no labels/info don't know which one enable/disable hazard flash ...

    *** Update ***

    So in module 09

Channel 09 is The duration of Coming/leaving home lights via MMI Car menu
Channel 14 is Daylight running lights on/off setting via MMI Car menu
Channel 15 is Coming/leaving home lights on/off setting via MMI Car menu

    Documented...
Channel 16 is rear wiper function
    Channel 19 is halogen 13.5v or 15v

Tried it twice tonight, from 70mph & 30mph and the hazards don't come on on mine either.
