    Yep that's me over on Tyresmoke. Seems like an age away and I've lost count of the cars I've had since I sold the A4. Wish I never had

    Ok you two, back on topic..
    why cant I log into abs to reset steering angle sense, there is no login option on 03 with vag-com or the (beta either-hex-can intfce).
    Fitted a suffix N swcm and DIS operates, but now flashing TPM warn light(not fitted) and ESP light on steady..***??

    cant help with the abs or esp i just reset mine when i fitted
    but that TPMS light i got and no way could i get it off audi couldnt i recoded etc just wound not come off had dash checked nothing wrong with it put old scsm on and it went off fitted 3 diff scsm;s all did the same so i got dash man to sort it no TPMS light comes on and never will again

    go to address 03 then go to function 11 login and enter the code to reset the steering angle then clear all fault codes in address 01,03 and 16 and cycle the ignition and that's it check which version abs you have fitted but its the same method for bosch 8 and 5.7

    If you are using second hand steering column control units relearn the vin number address 16 Channel 081: Vehicle Data Learning

    To start the process for vehicle data (VIN) learning, enter/save 00111 as new value.

    Thx, first problem I have though is that the login function11 appears whilst interogating module, then it greys out with "coding ll 11" written in the button box???? so I cant login it would appear...

    just popped outside and function 11 is fine on mine vcds 805.4
    engine must be off ignition on and clear fault code or check the fault codes and post them
    vag diagnostics, retrofits and general repairs

    yep, 805.4 on mine too, but 15, 11 and 10 are greyed out?

    ok just checked open address 03 click on login 11 enter code then go back and open basic setting 01 and that's it another way is driving in a straight line for 100yards and it should reset automatically unless the angle sender is way out but check mvb for its postion

    The tank volume which is not recordable by the fuel gauge sender(s).

    Non-parallel shift of the tank characterictic above a readout of 1/2. To start the adaptation enter '65535' as new value.

    * Standard Value: 128
    * Value Range: 112...144 (-4.0...+4.0 l)
    * Increments: 1 = 1 Ohm = 1/4 l

    Channel 034: Tank Characteristic (Dry Calibration)
    Channel 035: Speed Threshold

    This value represents the speed threshold for the dynamic oil pressure system. The threshold can be raised in increments of 250 RPM.
