Hello Guys - I'm about to start a process to retrofit my 2012 A7 headlights and taillights to 2016 facelifted model. I've bought all the stuff including from bumper. Everything is mounted and installed already.

When I connected headlights to 14pin connector there are few things mixed with lightening:
    - I DRL running properly
    - I got turn singal instead of high beam
    - I got only one part of low been active. The second sector is not running.

I tried mixing with wiring and was able to make turn signal working properly, but not able to run high beam properly.

I believe somoe coding is needed here as old full leds were slight different (3 sectors instead of 4 in new one).

I got VCDS and this is orginal long coding from 09-Cent-Elect module.

Can anyone run a scan on facelifted model and share please?
I think this one would be very beneficial.

    Your comments are very welcome.

    Cheers.

Just out of interest why are you trying to put the old lights on? What have you done with the new ones and the bumper?

I am sorry if was not clear.
I am trying to run new lights on 2012 model. The thing is, when I put new lights to existing wiring then those lights are not working properly. Namely,
    - I got DRL and outer part of low beams.
    - No turn signals
    - No high beams.
    - I believe there are also fog lights but also not working.

I was trying change wiring, but I wasn't able to run highbeams at all. I couldn't make even quick flash.

That's why I am wondering if it is the case of coding or wiring...

    Hello -

I did a measure on every pin in headlight connector and trying to understand what they are dedicated for.
I can see two modules mounted on the headlamp cover. Can you help me figure out what they are need for particularly and what they control please? Does someone know what PIN may be related to them?
    - 7PP941472E (Ballast control?)
    - 4G0907697F (LED control module?)

This is the voltage table I was able to create:

Wish I could help as I'm interested in doing this too. Are they the matrix lights or normal LED lights?

    I'm retrofitting normal LED lights.

Basically all is working beside high beam.

Did you ever get the high beams to work?

I am having the same problem with retrofitting LED headlights to a 2012 A6. All works except for high beams. In fact, when I pull the lever, the low beams come on.
