    Has anybody seen the New 2012 USA only VW Passat at the American motorshow, its also on volkswagon.com. Could be called the real B7

    Just looked and compared and far prefer the look and design of the US model. Those rear light clusters and boot cut-in really give a BMW look. Interior too, they've gone a bit more adventurous with a redesigned dashboard and relocation of the clock. Definitely more of a B7 than 6.5, whereas the interior of our new model is definitely just a refresh than a redesign..

    Don't like it. Looks to big and bulky and front doesn't look much different than the the new shape B6.5

    And have you seen the cost - up to $7000 cheaper than the outgoing model as it's being made at a new plant in the US and not imported from Germany.

    The not electronic but mechanical handbrake is back between the front seats,
    why is it that we pay more for new cars in Europe than they do in the USA. could it be rip of Britan

    not a fan tbh. Prefare the shape of the b6, looks more "handsome".

    Dont like the fact it looks like a BM or Audi. (even though I like both brands)

    I wouldn't even call it a refresh, chrome around the vents, centre analogue clocks that look out of place and move the handbrake switch. Hardly ground breaking.

    I'm of the same opinion. And that's something I never thought I'd say about a car.
