That said how much is it and I guess only from the dealers?

£99 including postage on ebay from Audi Belfast. I think I'm going to get one as the space is useless and the phone gets scratched if you leave the phone there.

Will ask the local dealer to price match first.

By the way the 3G/3GS cradle works and fits, presumably the "4" is a better fit - however I switched from iPhone 3G to 4 without any issues.

Thanks for that Bangor Lad, but I've heard of people having problems with using the Iphone4 on the older cradle so I'm going for the dedicated cradle.

I think the newer phone is slight bigger and squarer than the older models.

The iPhone 4 is smaller in every dimension.

    iPhone 3GS Cradle with iPhone4

The other reason I kept the 3GS cradle is because that is the phone my wife has.

I would be interested to see if the iPhone 4 cradle has a radically different design?

Thanks for the pics. I take it that it replaces the ipod connector in the glove compartment - i.e. you can play music off your iphone via the AMI?
