    Yep mines a 6 speed manual, took me around three months of learning to drive this type of car to get the higher mpg but its has its advantages

    Hi Big G....... Im local to you.

    Im getting 34Mpg but if i drive it a tadge harder i am getting 29....

    I think it needsa service

    04 reg 130 tdi. Just bought it. on first trip home (Barra) 400 miles at 53 mpg. trip computer showed 47mpg. I noticed as I coasted down glens in scotland that --- came up as actual mpg. I know 53mpg is accurate because I filled tank at start and end of journe so maybe ---were taken as 0 mpg even though I was moving. Great car by the way love the tiptronic!

    That is right, if you take your foot of and decelerate the reading on mine goes ---. Sometime before that happens I have seen 199mpg. I assume when it goes above that it just does not display it. There is probably no or so little fuel going into the engine.
    One German, Two Italian.
    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though
