I just got my brand new RS4 and I'm trying to figure out how to answer a cell phone call while connected with bluetooth. The thing is that my car has the european version steering wheel (flat-bottomed wheel) with no answering-calls button. I can't find nothing in the manuals.

Can you post a picture of your steering wheel? That would help me identify what it lookos like for starters.

My car is an A4 SE with multifunction steering wheel that has bluetooth; your car is obviously different. To make/answer calls on mine I just push the rotary dial on the LHS of the wheel. If yours doesn't have that, I'd go to my local Audi dealer and ask the Sales guy!

    Good luck
    Steve

That would be the logical thing to do, right?... guess what? the sales guy doesn't know!!!! Hahahahahaha. Funny right?

My steering wheel is not the usual multifunction wheel. I'll look for a picture.

You need a cradle so you can press the talk button as there is no phone button on the steering wheel but there is one on the cradle for prep low.

Got it... but I was told that it can be used to connect the phone directly to the car without using bluetooth. Is that right? Actually I don't understand how it works.

Hi A8 tech. That is an impressive list of part numbers! Maybe the Sales Staff and Service guys need your assistance here! I've no idea which part is which, but the user interface for the bluetooth doesn't seem straightforward with this issue!

Talito - which Dealer have you spoken to about this? Name and shame?

Yes but if you have lowline electrics without multi function steering wheel you cant answer the call without the cradle talk/answer button.unless you wire into the radio unit or rnse if you have navigation.

Audi Zentrum here in Lima, Peru... hahahaha... a little far away.

Okay, I can buy the cradle but actually I wanna use the bluetooth functionality and that's where the problem is, how to answer/make calls without the button the usual steering wheel has.
