new conv s sline question

Hi,
First post here.
I have just collected my new A4 Conv s line 3.0TDI, black with red roof, Bose, and 9 spoke wheels, Very pleased with her.
I have a couple of questions,:
How long does it take to free up the TDI engine, and i have the CD six stack in the glove box, can i still connect my Ipod.

Did you go for the iPod adaptor as a factory option? I know you can retrofit these if you didn't.
On my Avant the iPod dock is in the glovebox, probably in the same place where your CD changer is.

I know on my girlfriend's Golf her iPod dock is in the arm rest so maybe you can install one there (if you have an arm rest)

I didnt know you could pick ipod over cd, so its got the 6 cd`s in the glove box. do audi retro fit this or can i do it do you know.

You can certainly get Audi to fit it but this could prove expensive.

I am getting cruise control fitted by these guys next month:

They also do the iPod kit supplied and fitted for £150

Alternatively VAG Parts can supply you with the kit but I don't know how easy it is to fit yourself. www.vagparts.com
