    According to this

    the torque limit of the ZF 6HP19 is 400Nm (295 lb.-ft).
    So question is, what happens if you go over that...

    330-350bhp/450-500lbsft
    3.0tdi hybrid turbo, decat, improved intercooling


    2007 3.0 tdi le mans : Hybrid turbo decat : miltek etc : 330-350 bhp : 450-500lbsft

    Visibility pack. Adaptive xenon, Privacy glass. Bose surround. Dvd nav. Comms pack, led plate lights.
    Miltek, custom map,hybrid turbo, decat improved airflow to intercoolers.

    I know.
    But even the Wikipedia quotes the same number for 6hp19: 400Nm. (295 lb.-ft)

    Surely more than a coincidence that two seperate sources show a 400lbsft, so anyone thinking of putting more than that through their tranny shouldn't probably be too surprised if it goes bang?

    From experience there's usually a 10% safety margin on the upper end.

    Well, let's hope that ZF did better job with our boxes compared to the 5HP24A in C5 Audi RS6, which quite often went belly up even with standard RS6 torque of 580Nm (428 lb.-ft).
    Has anyone experienced or heard of a box in the C6 A6 3.0TDI going bang driving stock,non mapped engine?
