Sold the utilities and transport so we can now enjoy paying an arm and a leg for everything,

Removed free milk in school

Botched up but took credit for getting the Falklands back (she didn't btw, the lads got them back, just thought we'd clear that up here and now, she was in a warm house in London at the time,

Crushed the union's that represented the working man so he couldn't get representation without getting sacked anymore,

Murdered Wales and Yorkshire in particular without a single grain of sympathy for wrecking those peoples lives,

Married to a Napalm dealer who couldn't see what Napalm does to skin only the profit margins that he and his family would enjoy,

Dispatched the UK armed forces to look for her mummies boy when the idiot found out he couldn't read a compass,

Got lots of people in debt by telling them to buy a house and then when the room was full pulled the rug by way of 13.5% interest rates (go to a calculator site and see how much this jacks your current mortgage up by a month, try not to cry when you see the figures)


Now that's just the ones my failing brain can remember, the woman would never listen to anyone, spoke over people and shouted people down and would've chucked WMD's around if she felt she was going to be humiliated, had she still been PM now we wouldn't be here now to talk about it, she would've been over to the Whitehouse planning on how best to fry the middle east on Sept 12th 2001,

I'd say yes, John Major was a much better person and it was what he did after she was ousted that halted repossession's and gave people a chance to be able to keep their homes, he got painted grey by the media because he wasn't a shouting man and appeared dull, I can assure you all he was anything but grey, the man loves sports like Football & Cricket, when he visited the military the lads all liked him and the reality is he handed over a very healthy country to Labour in 1997 and they rode on lots of hard work until they did their dependable trick of bankrupting us all over again, but although history won't echo what I said about JM the reality is when Maggie was in we were all skint and depressed, when JM was in interest rates lowered substantially and growth picked up, sadly the two clowns we have now are making the Maggie mistake all over again, growth never happens when the consumer is skint, simple principle really but very hard to grasp if you were born silver spooned which she was and so was the current pair.

yeah ok, JM was a thoroughly descent bloke and took the job on at a pretty bad point in history, right in the middle of a war if my memory serves me right. but since Jm, all we have had is idiots. powerful and rich idiots mind that have manipulated the country and vitrtually brought us to our knees, all for his and his wifes bank account, with no thought at all for the people of this once fine land. how much money he made from the property boom and some wars we will never know, but it was more than any of us will ever make in a collective lifetime. i mean, blow me, there were even laws introduced that his mrs seemed to be able to do rather well out of.

Also regarding the Falklands,

It was her that cut the Navy giving the Arge the idea that they could come take and nothing would happen,

It was her who ordered the Belgrano to be sunk when she had no need to and effectively shut the door on getting ashore without resistance, "although it was an Admiral at the time who requested to take the shot, I wonder why? history book and my name again?)

It was her who chose to upset a nation equipped with Super Etendard jets carrying Exocet missiles by killing 1000 of it's sailors,

It was her who ordered 2 RFA ships into a bay in daylight as sitting ducks,

It all nearly went bang in her face, a better tactician in Argentina could've inflicted a really heavy defeat on us,

It was her who sent the Navy to do the job the Army does, our ships need not have been put at risk at all, better tactic's on a more stealth angle would've got a fast victory, she needed the Subs and the Carrier's, the rest of the job was landing ships and the Troops, all of which would've got on the island unhindered had she not pig faced had to sink the Belgrano, the subs could've delt with the few ships Argentina had at the time and the Carriers to cover the air, besides air launched missiles aren't as effective on hitting ground troops as they are hitting grey metal in the sea, and the Exocet was the star of that war, I actually think had she not gone offensive and we had landed ok the Argentine would've simply surrendered, but that would have needed to happen before anyone inflicted a single defeat on anyone, once that ship sank the gloves were off.


I know a good way to stop this all happening again, it won't be popular with everyone but I now think it would be a consideration to cut Argentina in on the deal so everyone gets the chance to share the spoils and the costs finding the said spoils, what a lot of people don't realise is Argentina is a land made up mainly of Italian,Spanish and Peruvian immigrant's and it's only it's government that has this bee in it's bonnet, share it around a bit and all should be happy, that's until someone decides to double deal anyway, which they will cos it's the nature of those type of self server's, and by that I mean ours not theirs.

Oh absolutely, every one since JM is a self serving judas to our nation imo.

Before I can only go back as far as Heath, so I suppose in a way you are right clown after clown allowed MT to ascend rapidly, Foot,Wilson,Callaghan, with only Thorpe and then Kinnock as alternatives so she couldn't lose, she did however have some decent ppl in her cabinet but she would never listen to any of them and worked it as mummy knows best.

There are some elements of privatisation which benefited the end user... others perhaps not...

Could I/we make difficult decisions that people in power at times must make?

Like all in a impossible job she made some very good and some bad decisions. However she was BRITISH to the core and had some very admirable principles something which appears disturbingly lacking in the current breed of floppy haired "Tim nice buts"......

Not really, I lived her she came to power as I was getting released from school, I remember all too well how her policies ended up costing me dearly, I watched the regular suicides of proud folks who couldn't face the shame of defaulting on loans that she had encouraged them to take and then played god with interest rates,

I am determined that her memory should not be one of some great lady, great people come in the form of aid workers, people who take and insider trade are nothing short of evil imo, while she was PM she could influence markets so good old Dennis could confidently invest in sure bets,

There is some footage of her today stating how proud and one of her greatest achievements was Tony Blair, I wonder why? because all along all that man was was a Tory plant planted to make the Labour party unelectable for another 20 years, he idolised her and you wait over the next few days he will be on TV saying things about her that only the proudest of sons would say about his mother,

I myself ended up in a county court and almost lost my home due to her policies, I took out a loan that I could afford @ £400pm only to see it rise to £650pm shortly after and due to her squeezing everyone my income halved, so old boy there is no love lost here for her and as far as I'm concerned this is a country of free speech and I will say what I feel and I will also say the truth of the matter as I find it disgusting that someone whose policies have created generations of scrap people should be seen in anything other than the light she really stood in, a conwoman who like most other people like her think if she's doing ok everybody is doing ok and to hell with the rest of them, I never did like people who shout at you, in a way she is another version of Hitler and the reason some found her adorable is because her demanding voice was perfect to order them in line, and incase you are thinking me a long haired hippy waster, I'm of RM appearance, I own my own home because I made it happen and I own my own business because I made it happen, nowhere in my life has what Mrs T done helped me in any way, infact I would be in a stronger position now had she never been PM.
