I thought it was about time there was a stance thread in the B6 section of the forum. It should prove to be useful for anyone looking to either buy rims, tyres or lowering kits. Even if you have a completely standard stance, tell us about the different tyres you have used and any recommendations. Or just post up a photo of you B6 that you would really love to share!

I'll make a start with my own car.

    Rims- 19x9 et41 Bentley Alloys
    Tyres- 235/35/19 Vredestein Sessanta
Suspension- H&R lowering springs with standard shocks

I love the ride quality of the car. Not overly firm and hasn't had any effect on the other suspension components. The vredestein sessanta tyres are fantastic. Best tyre I have ever used especially in the wet. Would highly recommend them to anybody.

Your rims look wider than the arches. Will that pass an MOT?

    Beautiful though!

Actually passed when I had wider rims on at the time! So long as the tyre tread is under the arch and they don't rub you can generally get away with it.

What springs are you thinking of going for esse? I pick up my new saloon tomorrow! I plan to move the wheels grille and stereo across to the new car, but kept the H&R springs in the estate. Can't decide on which new springs to get. Looking for some pictures of lowered saloons please!

ECS tuning currently have OEM sport springs on off for £26!! I have to find out first if they can do the ones for the diesel engines and if I can strike up a deal with the dealer that they won't void my warranty! They offer 25-30mm lowering. Should be plenty
