I have a 2010 A6 Le mans and the boot liner supplied dosen't fit, it is the semi rigid type ie the rubberised one, (and yes the correct part)

I have rasied this problem with my dealer and Audi uk CS and have had a reply that they changed the shape of the boot on 2010 models and have no intention of changing the boot liner to match,

so essentially what I'm let with it an ill fitting boot liner and Audi don't seem bothered! mmmmmmmmmmm

Any one else had similar poblems

Did you have to pay for it?

If so then I would hand it back and ask for a refund. Thanks for the heads up though as I was considering a liner for my 2010 C6, I'm making do with the old B7 reversible liner for the moment.

I found the same with my aftermarket one but a few quick 'adjustments' with a Stanley knife makes it fit (sort of...)

The 2010 rear mat fitting lugs also have a different spacing (I found) too!

If it was me, I think I'd be telling them, that ok, as I have no intention of paying for an ill fitting boot liner - refund please

I had a boot liner for my A6 C5, and kept it when I changed to the C6 models. It is not a perfect fit, especially where the boot floor ramps up behind the rear seats in my facelift car, but it does the job OK and there are no gaps round the side.

If your official C6 boot liner doesn't fit perfectly, I'd be asking for my money back if I was you.

    Regards,

    MF.

Luckily, I didn't pay for it, it was by was of a good will gesture for completely srewing up the delivery of the car, as for a stanely knife, I've yet to find one that will add rubber but thank you for the suggestion.

It's not a massive problem, it's more the principle, the area of worst fit is towards the back where there are recesses, the boot liner has been designed for one recess only on the right hand side however mine also has one on the left so the boot liner dosnt follow the profile of the boot.

Reccess on the LHS? Seems a little odd, I have the Avant and it only has a recess on the RHS with the LHS being a solid vertical panel.

Yes I too found it odd but have been informed by Audi that they changed the internal shape of the boot on 2010 models ??? why I don't know?
