Just seen a MK6 GTD today. When were they released?? Only noticed it cos it was drivin towards me and had the GTD badge on the grille

The new GTD is an absolute rip off - £2600 more than the equivalent MK5 170 GT Sport and for the extra money it comes with improvements that most would value at no more than £800 over the GT Sport.

Hopefully though, the CR system has made the power delivery of the 170TDI unit a lot smoother than the old PD version.
