Hi did you find out where this resovoir is?

Today I had audi out as roof trips when all parts are up (boot lid section at back that lifts up to reveal storage bay just looses pressure and drops down). It's booked into dealer for next week, but roadside guy suspects micro switch on roof box lid is out of adjustment or faulty!?!?!

Code is 02000 switch - setting implausible signal..

    Thanks!

    Hi all from sunny Italy

I had the same annoyng problem on my wife cabbie (typ 89 1997) i know it can be very difficult to find out the solution but......

On mine there was no intermittent problem but simply on a certain point the roof started to open...... when it come to fold the back of it the lid for the hood storage opened few inches and then stayed there..... no further movement.

I found that the faulty part was the electric lock for the boot part No:8G0959639.

I guess that in your case where the problem it's random
the cause it's related on the loom of cables on the sides of the boot
the cables inside breaks because the continuos tilting and send a false signal to the roof ECU probably your electric motor it's ok but one of the related wires makes a bad/faulty contact randomly.
Looms of wires are on the side of the pantograph arms of boot lid.

    Stefano
