Im a newbie to this site, tried to search for a similar thread but couldnt find one.

Basically, I've got a MK4 golf and recently fitted my sub and head unit with no real problems except I cant find a single place to earth my sub?! At the moment it's lodged near the rear seats where there's a little lip of the base of the boot. (Sorry that the description is so weak!)

So I'm wondering if there's a place that I can earth y sub to without having to drill holes?! There must be somewhere!!?

    Help.. anyone?!

    Thanks.

    VictoryWorks

ps. also to add it worked for a while being lodged where it is but now my sub wont work at all. the power light is on, the fuse is fine and all the connections are fine so im assuming the only problem is the earth... just to clarify the situation.

He's asking for a specific bolt/mounting point so he doesn't have to drill an earth.

    Mekal ?

Are you an alchemist that has managed to turn nonsense into even more nonsense?

The point of this thread is that OP knows he needs to earth to metal but was asking where to earth towithout drilling a hole.

This is a valid question as there are no obvious earth points in the boot of a MK4 Golf. In fact the only one without major dismantling is the seatbelt buckle bolt(s).
