2.0TFSi Performance

The 2.0TFDI is a good engine so I hear. it won the 'International Engine of the year' for its class this year too.

I couldn't get one to test drive either (I'm getting a 2.0 A5 though, not an A4).

You waiting as well?? Can't wait to get mine - have you been for a test drive in one? I have only driven the 143 diesel - smooth, but not quite enough grunt.

Anyone know of any review sites A4/A5 with the new engine?

Yes waiting.....not picking up until Dec as I am out of the country. I drove the 1.8T petrol which I found a bit sluggish.

Picked mine up on Tuesday and have to say you won't be disappointed. Have only done about 200 miles since so haven't pushed the engine too hard but up to now the car and engine are even better than I hoped for.

Nice to know....so you can answer the question that has been thrown around for ages....exhaust pipes - 2 on one side or one each side?

Is yours FWD or Quattro? Just wondering if that may make a difference to the exhaust layout as well.

2.0T Saloon has twin exhaust on the left. The 2.0T Avant has one on each side. Read that on the PDF brochure download from the Audi site

Don't suppose you could let us know what MPG is coming through at? Early days I know, but I am running it as a company car and this will need to be reasonable.

I am hoping for a 'real' 35 combined...
