    hi i driving a Golf 4 1600cc 1999
    Can someone give me a step my step instructions on how to clean my throttle body and to do the electronically re-aligned

    Th best way is to take it off the car to clean it, IMHO it cannot be cleaned properly otherwise.IIRC it is really simple. Take off the air filter, unplug the multiplug, then take off of the air pipe (and the trottle cable if its not DBW) then undo the 4 bolts and they come off.

    I normaly jam the butterfly open with a soft bit of wood then clean them with a cloth and lots of carb cleaner. BE VERY CARFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE INSIDE.

    When it is spottlessly clean put it back together.

    Then connect up vag-com and use the instructions off of the ross tech wiki http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/...ment_%28TBA%29

    you will need to register the software before it will let you adapt the TB

    Oooops i cleaned my throttle body well still on the car only removed the air hose and vacuum hose
    the irregular idling below 800rpm is solved but know its revving up irregular idling above 1000rpm revving up to 2000rpm
