I've just watched the latest Dukes of Hazzard Film I download buck shee.

Not the best film ever made, its straight to DVD, but when i was a kid i grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard on tv, together with The A Team, Knight Rider and Airwolf.

Which has led me to ask. Which is best?

I was born in 77 so these are my youth.

Some older members may recall their kids watching them. I also accept that there are many other classic tv series out there, but these mean the most to me.

The image is of me a couple of years ago realising a dream of actually seeing and sitting in a 1969 dodge charger.

Just to clarify, the "Which Is The Best" question only applies to The Dukes of Hazzard, The A Team, Knight Rider and Airwolf for the purposes of this thread.

    Thanks

P.S. I wanted to put a poll with this but it wouldn't allow me to for reasons unknown, which soon may become known.

Tripped over this thread that make reasons known https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...ead.php?t=9129

I bought the box set about 2 years ago from asda for a tenner.. 2 discs as they only ever made 12, 30 minute shows... yes 12!! eveyone always thinks there was many more.. but no.. only 12..

The best one in my opinion was the Waldorf salad - see the link below..

    Also..

On another note.. about 4 weeks ago i went to The "Cars of the Star" musuem in Keswick..

Its only £4 in and they have about 30 cars on display from TV & Film..

All the cars are the oringal ones from the moive unless stated..

Its worth a visit if your in the area.. will only take you about 30 mins to go round at the max.. its really small but worth a look..

Talking about the Dukes of Hazzard; I found a web site about 10-11 years ago which detailed the adventures of a bloke who bought a transporter load of General Lee's from the studio who made the Dukes of Hazzard and restored one (the others going to other people who restored them). It was a good read, I doubt the page is about now.

I've also visited the Cars Of The Stars - well worth a visit. I felt like a big kid seeing some the cars they have there. Pity you can't get any photos though.

    Well you started it......

    Don't mention the war

Basil, head bandage making him look crazier than ever, on hearing the arrivals speaking German, says “Oh German! I thought there was something wrong with you.”

    Classic Scene…

Basil then proceeds to mention the war at every opportunity, upsetting the German guests more and more as he rapidly descends into a fit of xenophobic ranting about everything and everyone that most Germans would rather forget.

When the fed up German asks Basil to stop going on about the war, Basil kindly reminds him that they started it. “We did not start it,” protests the German. “Yes you did, you invaded Poland”, replies Basil!

This makes me laugh everytime I watch this or even think about it to be honest.

I love Home Improvement with Tim Allen. Fawlty Towers is also a good one, though I did not watch it first time around.

Golfmk5gttdi, hate to ruin it mate but you have still not realised your dream. That picture is a 1970 Dodge Charger The Dukes of Hazzard wrecked that many Dodge Chargers they used 68's, 69's and 70 Chargers.
    One German, Two Italian.
