Last week I tried to open my car with the remote fob, nothing happened at all. Since then it has worked intermittently. The key works fine in the lock, I changed the battery in the fob (first thing I did!!). Could it be that the car is out of sync with the key? I have heard that you can reprogramme the key, if so how do I do this?

Secondly my 2 LCD's in the speedo pod have given up the ghost. I noticed it about 4 days ago. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did they fix it?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

If the LCD are anything like the VW and AUDI one then this is common for them to become flaky!!!

with the key fob do you have another key? if so you can rematch it to the system.

The only other key I have is the non-remote spare, would that work?
