    hey guys! im new to the forum. just aquired a 1.8t 1999 passat. i'v jus looked around the battery tray area and there is a build up of water. was just wondering if there was any drainage points that could be blocked or what i could do to resolve this problem. cheers. G

    no worries... i only just picked up my car a few days ago but its been parked up since as i need to sell mine before i can start spending some time on it.

    That is one thing i am deffo going to check.

    iv never really spent time on my passat and iv had it a year. its jus a practicle run about although there was a point i was thinkin about doing a few mods but decided against it! will see what the futre holds but i dont see me selling my other car!

    yep! love it to bits! 3rd one iv had! cant get rid of it! after second one i was like no im not buying another 20yr old car so what did i do.....saw one that needed saving and bought it! not the most practicle car but it looks good!
