What did you find? Didn't show me anything interesting!
He found his car wans't even registered LOL
Is your date of liability months and months away or even worse in a few weeks time?
If I feed it a reg to do with me, the info it gives me is not new.
BUT, If I feed it a reg of say a friend or colleague at work it tells me info about them.
From that info I've worked it out.
I can't post it as I may be wrong, but it all looks like it's adding up to me.
Martin
I'm also lost on this- just typed in all my neighbours cars and same old info, colour of car and when tax is due and how much it costs etc.
Is that better than what you have been told then
Mine is 194g/km and also 2.0T so Audi have cleaned up the Co2 output
 why can't you say?
Lets say your friend has a Ferrari and you knew his reg. You could put this reg in the DVLA site and it should say it has a CO2 of a very high number. If it didn't you would want to know why.
Upon investigation you found out it was not a Ferrari, But a very good clone of one.
Hope this helps as the battery on my laptop show red / 19% left so I'll be going soon.
Martin
So your 'mate' has been fobbing you off saying he has a Ferrari? :)
I can't see him being fobbed off unless someone did a very good forgery of a V5C for that car.
sorry mate this is still as clear as mud.
use Private messaging to explain if you don't want to post on here.
I am totally lost with what you are trying to say.
I think 'WE ALL KNEW'
Martin
This is great.
The thread is like reading a prolonged cryptic crossword clue.
The link is dead for me but we have discussed it at work previously (6 months ago) as at one time it reported if the vehicle was insured and taxed.
This thread is turning to nonsense, however, a friend of the cousin of my mates neighbour has a wart on his scrotum; can anybody recommend something to treat it.
Andy
I've just been on there checking all my old cars.
My MK1 Golf soldiered on until 2001 !!!
The last post was a mistake and YES I'm starting to agree with you.
MY09 2.0T FSI = 154 CO2's = £150 Tax 12mths
MY09 2.0T FSI Q = 172 CO2's = £170 Tax 12mths
I've seen via the link a 2.0T FSI Quattro with Tax paid at 154 CO2 / £150 level.
Now either the car is NOT as it is or he's just lucky.
Now that's all Im saying. The moderator may well close this thread as he has done others.
Martin
I didn't realise sticking quattro badges on a car would cause such drag and hence and increase in CO2 emissions!
Incredible!!!
Display the 'evidence' for all to view hehehehehe
Mr Moderator... Please close this thread as it has gone to far now...
Martin
I think I finally got the clues!!! So someone is being untruthful!!:aargh4:
For the sake of £20 tax you may as well have got a genuine quattro :)
:1zhelp: can't comment without sounding very cruel - so i wont !
but i'm still laughing :D
YOU BLOODY STARTED IT!
Right this is the very last words I'm going to say on the subject.
1. My invoice shows I ordered and recieved a quattro
2. I paid the additional £1395 for the quattro (the going rate in February)
3. The car tax paid on the car is £180.68 (12 months + 2 weeks)
4. The V5 shows its a quattro with CO2 emissions of 172 g/km
&
5. It drives like a bloody quattro (having test driven numerous 2 & 4 wheel drive Audi's, you would think I would know the diffrence!)
Now if the DVLA have cocked up their records, I'm not going to tell them because I'll be paying cheaper road tax!
Mind you after this saga it wouldn't surprise me if one of you lot grassed me up to the DVLA! :(
& before anyone asks for evidence that it is one, DON'T, because it ain't gonna happen!
We're all old enough to drive which should mean we're all mature too (when we need to be of course).
Maybe it was amusing the first time, perhaps even the second time but to go out of your way to mock someone who is also a member of the forum is low and I'm not impressed.

BH has taken a lot of stick over this and I fully agree with his post.
