Re: What is it worth?
Depritiation of 3-4 year old cars (med - large family cars) has increased % wise a fair bit, so the prices are down on what they should be
Only the small town cars and older cars have increased in price over the last 6 months Due to the Scrappage and everything else, making it hard to get a good 10 year old car thanks to all the looked after ones going in the crusher (lets face it if they can afford to by new its probably been looked after) leaving a short fall in the lower end of the market and high prices

Re: What is it worth?
Hi Adam,
I bid on a 2006 renault master 3.0dci lwb luton with tail lift last week ex lease 189k hpi clear etc etc and i didn't get it at £3750. It went for 3850. It sold on ebay 2 weeks later for £5150. The next week i won a similar van (55 plate)with 44k for £150 more than i bid on the 189k one. If you are in the trade and have spent 1000's of hours "in da ring" you will know how it varies. There are all sorts of reasons that a newer/lower miles etc motor may go for less than an older one such as Cam belts due, discs worn, sevice due etc etc. It doesn't have to be because there is any issues with the car. Anyway- what did you pay for the damaged A3?

Re: What is it worth?
I know the prices can be all over the place, but i realy truely belive German stuff is very firm, they all run through the ring dam close to book price, and anything scruffy still makes near the money for export to africa or the EU have not seen anything "cheap" and german for ages and
£3800 for damaged one, Taped up the back (boot floor, legs, quaters, and bumper) easy fix for me as its my daily car so not to fussed about it being spot on
