I can wright to Bob Russel who I know in person but what?I know him as a helpful person not just an MP.[/QUOTE]
I guess the first thing is to figure out what we want and how we want to achieve this.
Then it would make sense to put political pressure on those in charge to implement change...
I needs to start from the top down, laws, legislation etc
Of course there are moderate Muslims Gup same as there are nut-bag fundamentalist Christians. I'm just giving my 2 bobs worth as a practicing agnostic on how I see things. My doctor is a Muslim, my optician is a Siek I think. My point remains accurate I believe we are not talking about educated professional people. The extremists are as a rule uneducated whether from they're tribesmen from Afghanistan or or slack jawed yokels from Alabama.
No mate it was a pun. I have zero input into the finer points of this site and what they do or don't tolerate. It just struck me as funny that being intolerant of intolerance is in fact intolerant, and the wheel turns....

My grandfather was Indian/Punjabi but he was from the time when India and Pakistan was together ... he could not read/write in Punjabi but only Urdu ... many a time he told me stories of his childhood and how he had a Muslim nanny ... he wanted us to visit Pakistan and to show where he grew up ...
So will I be condemned for having a family history linked to Pakistan, a Muslim state?
Thanks for posting this mate :) ...
Gup, when I started reading your posts and the detail and lengths you go to I was quite impressed I thought you were German, not a nation I'm over enamored with but I liked you as an individual. I know now you're not German you're Gupsterg and I don't give a rodents rectum where you're from I still like you :o
Doc, that's the first post (on the other side of the fence from me) in this entire thread which actually comes across as well thought out logic rather than just anti-islamic ignorance. However I went to school with sections of Christian society who had to leave school assembly because they couldn't take part in mainstream Christian hymns & they weren't allowed to use any technology etc. So there ARE sections of Christianity that haven't moved on at all. In fact I was offered a job interview with a company which was owned by people from a certain section of Christianity that wouldn't let me have a radio in my company car, expected me to start work at 6am, didn't allow drinking at company Christmas functions etc. I now work for a company owned by Muslims & you wouldn't know the difference between the way they do things & the way any other western company does things (I can have a beer with them etc). One of the Directors is a woman. In fact some Muslim countries have had women leaders & they don't all wear full burkhas in Muslim countries, so just as there is sections of Muslim culture that is very orthodox, there are also sections of Christianity that are very orthodox. You just can't discriminate & generalise an entire race/religion as all being the same.
Thank you mate :) ... I know you did not post the links to the EDL but for me each time a poster agrees with the viewpoint within it I wanna know what they essentially agree about it ...
For me groups like the EDL/BNP stand for a lot more than they publicly admit, just like the mirror groups of them ...
