Can I get these bushes / Mounts? What do they do? Where can I get them from?

I have just had a service done on my car and been informed that the following things need to be changed sooner rather than later.
1.FRONT TOP MOUNTS
2.O/S/F TIE ROD ARM DUE TO EXCESSIVE PLAY
3.REAR BUMP STOPS SPLIT (found these parts (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=190266822723))
4.O/S/F LOWER ARM BUSHES HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY (is this linked to item 2 and can I just replace the bushes or do I have to do the whole lot?)
5.REAR AVEL BUSHES WORN (what the hell is an AVEL bush)
6.DOG BONE MOUNT BUSH WORN ( I don’t even own a dog!!)
Don’t panic a friend of mine will be fitting them with me.

You can replace all the bushes separately except those on the anti-roll bar drop links.

For you, it may work out cheaper to buy a new set of lower arms rather than attempt to fit the bushes to them unless your mate is fairly handy.

If you do change the lower arm bushes, only the flat one will be knackered as more than likely, in which case replacing them with items off an Audi TT or Leon Cupra are better, they are solid bushes as opposed to the standard voided ones and tighten up the front end nicely.

Didn't you notice any deterioration in handling etc before you had the service? There's an awful lot of items to be replaced on your list!

I have noticed nothing I think part of it is the garage trying its luck!!!
