Hi Guys

can anyone tell me how i can go about trouble shooting the diverter valve as after my remap i keep geeting a p0299 dtc. the cars performance is not obviously any different than before.

Hi

You can check the duty cycle of the DV using VAG COM ;)

hi mate
i dont have a a vag for this. i used my st3 box to check for codes. is there any visual checks i could do?

Yes, remove the 3 bolts holding the DV in and remove it.

Then, remove the centre diaphram and check for splits ;)

cheers mate i will have a go. can this be accessed from the top or do i need to go under the car.

If its a case of replacment i heard that rather than go for VAG ones go for forge instead any views on this
