Hi folks

I am trying to "turn down" / reduce the operation of the egr for my ccwa engine, I can't find a specific documented process for this engine however have the steps in vcds that have been documented for other TDIs

Engine - enter code 12233 - adaption - channel 3 or in my case egr correction, this is where it advises to change the value to 33768 which should equate to 370mg/h, my problem is that the max value this field will take is 50 and is displayed as 50mg/stroke
Does anyone know what this means and how I can successfully reduce egr operation to a minimum ? I do intend to have it mapped out at a later stage as part of remap and DPf removal but getting intermittent insufficient flow error so wanted to try this for now

Thanks :)

Insufficient flow means it's blocked, take it off and inspect the inside and clean if necessary.

Thanks Chris I know its a job I have been dreading to be honest and one I intend to undertake as part of a wider post egr delete inlet manifold clean up! Just wanted to reduce egr operation in vcds in the hope that if it isn't active as much as intended if may be trigger the insufficient flow errors (lots of maybes I know) in anycase there does seem to be adjustment of the egr in vcds I'm just unsure of the values does anyone have an idea?

You probably already know but dpf deletion is now an MOT failure pint. (assuming you're in the UK of course)

Was thinking of getting a blocked dpf and gutting it then replace on mine
