I have had some starting issues and was directed towards the glow plugs. After checking them one was gone and so I have changed it. This has not solved my problem so I got some mechanics to look at it. Turns out the glow plugs are not pulling any current. They have suggested replacing the associated relay. I spoke to my local DEALER and they could only help by suggesting I replace the control unit at a cost of £62.
Getting to the point:
Does anybody know if the glow plug relay can be replaced and what is the part number, or is it a case of replacing the control unit as the dealer suggested?
Thanks,
Jake.

The glow plug control unit is the glowplug relay. It is underneath the enginebay fuse box usually. Have you got the correct NGK glowplugs. So many people fit the wrong ones and then damage the contoller.

Thanks for the reply. I think I got a BERU glow plug from eurocarparts. It is the correct part for my car according to their website. It reads the same resistance as the others.

read the glowplug section on my web site. You can't fit Beru glowplugs.

Rather naughty of eurocarparts that isn't it? Thanks. I'll replace the BERU one with a JFK before replacing the control unit.
