Hey guys. Just changed my pollen filter and have a question as to which orientation it should go in. I totally forgot when I removed it. Should the smaller “edge” be pointed towards the passenger door or away from the passenger door. If that makes sense? I know it is facing the top. Just unsure if it should be left or right

At least they are less unpleasant to do than the previous 4F stacked pair of house bricks, I love spending time with my head where countless dirty feet have been.

You'd think that, but I'm still unsure whether when I got mine, the filter that was in it was installed backwards in the factory, or whether it had actually been changed in the 4 years before I got the car. The crap that came out with the mangled and crushed filter would suggest it had been in there a VERY long time, and there was no record of it ever having been changed on the service schedule at all......so apparently if you apply enough BFI they can fit either way round!

Some of the new types such as the Mann https://www.frecious-plus.com/en claim to nearly stop particulate matter down to PM2.5, I have one in my Octavia and I can still smell a BMM engine hundreds of feet away but not much else.
