Vcds diagnostics help,liverpool area

Can anyone help me with my Audi a6 the Bluetooth has stopped working it just keeps searching for a phone but keeps shutting the radio and cd down,can anyone help.thanks.

Finally I had my car in AWESOME GTI and they were very helpful they said its my CD player,has anyone had this problem before thanks.

Did you get a full printout with fault codes?

Could be the unit itself, probably need a replacement which will need component protection removed iirc.

Just been back to awesome gti 1 code found. 00384 optical databus 001 open circuit intermittent. Freeze frame fault status 00101011. Fault priority 5. Fault frequency 5 reset counter 153. And I also have an open circuit intermittent on my front left and right midrange speakers.

Yep the CD changer is duff then if its showing open circuit in that particular module.

Hopefully its nothing else too sinister.

So I've got another a6 so I have borrowed the cd from it but when I plug it in its the same but when plug mine in the other car it plays the radio but the cd pulses but in mine it won't even let the cd play. Any suggestions.
