Hi i have a Bora PD115 , which i have had remapped. I understand that that this engine, as do the 130 and 150 , power peaks at 4000 rpm, and torque at 1800. However mine feels like the power peaks around 3500,both before and after the remap. could a faulty /aged MAF be the problem? (car has done 85 k miles)

Would upgrading to a Pierburg MAF ,whether my MAF is faulty or not ,give a slight performance/economy benefit over a fully functioning bosch unit?

Ive got a bora tdi 1999 V reg. Can Pierburg MAF be ok for mine?

Do just phone GSF and ask for a Pierburg MAF and give my car reg. Or do i need to ask for a certain Pierburg MAF ?

I think if your MAF are faulty just fitting a functioning one would be ok.

Funnilt enough, the best and cheapest place seems to be VW themselves for these.

When I changed mine, the difference was dramatic, like being re-mapped all over again.

Nah my MAF sensor's not faulty just been hearing good things about the peirburg MAFS because they last longer, give better peformance/mpg. becuase the boschs have something called a "HOT FILM" tape or something and the pierburgs dont and have something better,

If someone can let me know what pierburg i need for my bora tdi 1999 90bhp

    cheers.
