Oil Pressure Switch

I have a 1996 Audi A4 petrol;

If I get an oil leak from the oil pressure switch where would I expect to see oil leak on the engine?

Hmmm - I think I have the same problem ... loads of oil coating the sump and gearbox of my Audi A4 - hard to know where its coming from. However, the highest point of the oil mess is the oil pressure switch, so I am going to change this, clean up all the mess and see what happens.

To answer your question - oil gets everywhere - it does not evaporate like a water leak - just look for the highest point of oil mess in your engine, and you are near the source.
