As yours is an 88 bhp I think there is an uprated clutch and flywheel assembly available unlike my van which is the 102bhp version, They have different gearboxes.

A de cat is well worth doing, I did mine last year and it has definately free'd up some horsepower, the engine seems to run smoother and I am getting more MPG. I used a stainless de cat pipe available from Brickwerks. t was about 60 or 70 quid I think. It's definately one of the first mods to do if you plan on upping the BHP.

Certainly worth doing - my T4 was "decatted" & the engine was far more responsive & worth almost 10% in fuel economy. No MOT problems either.
