    Hi,

Being a newbi im hoping someone might be able to fill in the gaps for me!

I have read nearly all the threads regarding the a4 b5 however im getting more confused by the minute!

I understand there is a system for plugging into the AUDI A4 1997 1.8SE to check for faults, what i don't know is what faults this can diagnose and how reliable this system is.

For example as my previous post has said i have a slight hunting comming from the engine whilst driving, will it diagnose this?

I have just serviced the cat but the In 1 light is on the dash, can the system turn this off?

If so can i buy this system? Will it cost more than my car to buy!!?? What do i have to buy leads, prog (or freeware), how do i interpret the codes?

Or is this mainly for the specialists?

Your help will be much appreciated

Yes thats the one you want, I would buy a cable and download the freeware version first. just so you can try it out, then register it later.
