    picking up the new motor on friday (s-line avant in meteor) and wondered if anyone had any recommendations on where i can pick up some half decent looking but more importantly (as buying this car has cleaned me out!) affordable mats?

    i haven't even bothered looking at the audi ones as no doubt they will be a rip off! Also what polish and interior cleaner do people use? Was prob going to pick up some auto glym or something like that.

    thanks!

    Mine is arriving Friday and it comes with mats. Believe it or not but the lease company also provide a set of mats too, why I don't know when the audi ones will be far superior! The nice lady from the dealership said that they'll be in the boot on the off chance that I might want to use the lease mats instead, we both chuckled at the thought!

    Keep the ones from the lease company, you may need them!

    My car also arrived with two sets of mats, nice Audi ones fitted to the car and another set from Arval in the boot. I kept the Audi ones 'cos they looked better but after 12k miles they are wearing underneath where I must keep my left foot planted. So, it looks like I'll have to press the ones from the lease company into service unless Audi will replace their mats under warranty???

    Nick - have you asked the Audi dealer to chuck some mats in, if you don't ask you certainly don't get.

    Good luck

    No I didn't ask specifically for the mats to be thrown in, the lady from the dealers just mentioned it and said there were 2 sets, the audi ones and the lease ones. As you said I'll hang on to the lease ones as they may come in useful.

    Thanks

    I'm pretty sure the carpet mats come as standard. (They did on my S line).
    I bought a pair of fitted rubber mats for the front from Audi and they were about £20-30. They fit on the clips for the carpet mats and of excellent quality. I didn't think that was to expensive

    I think that a set of Audi rubber mats were about £48 per set and the carpet ones were included with the car { April '09 }

    As far as I am aware S-Line comes with mats as standard - mine did (with silver stitching to match the seats).
