    Guys,

Anyone taken their Door bottom trims off?

It's the Anodised (or coloured) strips that protect the sides of the doors (a bit) from mud-splash, that I'm having trouble with.

I've taken the 4 x Torx headed screws and the 2 x Phillips headed screws off, but it won't budge....

Other than replacing them, has anyone had any sucess with polishing them, or even re-anodising?

They're covered with white corrosion at the moment..

Once the torx screws have been removed then the trim needs to be slid rearwards to seperate from the door.
I know they are horrendously expensive from audi.
Once corrosion gets in to the silver alu effect ones there is not an awful lot you can do.

Its black, but rubbery black, looks very factory, I love em!

With mine there were just 2 screw, one either end of the trim, took them out and used a flat bladed screwdriver to pry it backwards towards the rear of the car, and it just fell off from the clips!

Removing them took less than 20 seconds!
