    If I had to have a 300, I'd rather have the 300 SRT-8

Not a fan of it to be honest....

Looks a bit like a pimps car or a drug dealer!

The car its self gets some good reviews though and theres some decent big engines on tap!

    Nasty, nasty car!

SRT8 is definitely from the 'brute force and ingnorance' school of performance cars.

It's just an old (and i mean old!) Merc E-Class with a terrible body, terrible build quality (I can't think of another modern car with so many different types of plastic making up it's dash!) and an American pig-iron block installed.

Don't even get me started on the Crossfire!

As you can tell, I'm not a fan.

I'm really surprised at peoples response :0)

Being inside it, to me, it seemed pure quality and same if not better than my Audi... perhaps i was just swept away by the space and classiness !

I love it, hired one in the US (V6) and the Magnum twice because I like them so much.
I admit the dash plastic is a little naf but the overall package good.
I actually think the CRD in the UK is probably the best option, though a thumping V8 SRT would be ideal.

I love American cars though normally 60's/70's I do like a few of the new American cars, the 300c/Magnum being one of them.

    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though

Haven't driven one but the image conjured up when I see one is that it is being driven by somebody who knows nothing about cars and hopes everyone thinks they have a Bently.
They look cheap, tacky , and I would expect an Essex wide boy or a sub class of Del boy to get out of one thinking everybody around was impressed.
Having just said all of that and probably insulted a few readers I would like to add that if it is built on what is essentially an old Mercedes and powered by some decent muscle then it shouldn't be a bad drive

It looks nothing like a Bentley, far better looking IMHO. I do not subscribe one minute that people buy them because they think others believe they have a Bentley.
