thanks for the reply . unfortunately i dont know the pr number . i have been wanting to do the 312mm brake upgrade for a while now ( at the moment i have 288mm discs ) and have been told a few times that i need the brake carriers of the 3.0 petrol a4 . these thing are as rare as hens teeth but last night i found a pair of carriers and calipers on ebay off a 3.0 b6 a4 . i just wanted to make sure that i have the right ones i suppose i will just have to wait and see (fingers crossed)

From the EBC website, they are 312mm. Happy fitting, now to find some myself.
    Options being considered:-
    312mm Brake upgrade - Definite
    Remap - Definite
Hybrid Turbo and Custom map - hmmmm
    Decat - hmmm

well the carriers and calipers turned up and i have to say they look a lot bigger than the carriers i have now so i think i will be ok . also included unbeknown to me was a virtually brand new set of genuine audi brake pads fitted to the calipers i wish i had known this i could of saved some pennies because on the same night i ordered some EBC ultimate pads from ebay . i also managed to get some brand new genuine audi 312mm front brake discs . so tomorrow is the day they all get fitted i will let you all know just what an improvement if any there is

This is a very common conversion over here in the US. You can actually just use the caliper carriers and larger rotors while re-using your own calipers. The whole OEM BBK is only 349.95 USD. Click here to order the whole conversion, currently 17% off.

If you want just the carriers: Click here.

I read that the carriers from the TT and A3 based cars (Gold, Octavia and Leon) didn't fit as the hub mounting points were different. Hence looking for ones from a 3.0 petrol or 2.5tdi.

    Is this not the case???
