Just been under the car as the exhaust has started to blow. At the back of the cat part of the exhaust, there is a hole on the drivers side and this is where the noise is coming from. I looks like it is supposed to be there. Does anyone know if there is a bolt or similar that is supposed to be in there?

    Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks

Any chance of a picture of yours?

It's not the lambda sensor hole is it?

This happened to mine a few years ago, i took it down to a local kwik fit where i knew someone who worked there and got a bolt welded in the hole. The only explanation i could think was that maybe it was there for us market cars that can have post cat sensors fitted, been ok ever since.

    Hi.

Thanks for that. I called german swedish and matey said what you just said. It is possible there are two places for sensors and there should be summit in it to block it up. Gonna get under today and see if it's threaded and get a bolt in there if it is. if not then welding it is!
