    Where did you guys find the destructions to do this? From what I can gather I just need the double din cage, part number 8E0 858 005 F and the nav unit (may also get the double din climate since mine isnt prestine)

    Id also like to know what bits i need to just get it to double din, not fussed about the stereo yet, ill just put in a aftermarket or symphony, is the part no. above correct for the cage, does anyone have a pdf guide at all?

    Hello mate, I completed the double din conversion and with a bit of patience it can look factory fitted. Not too sure of the part number but went into Audi and after a bit of trial and error, got the right cage. The surround and the climate unit will need trimming down to accommodate the cage, I used a junior hacksaw and a emery board to clean it up. Taking the dash apart to get the cage in is tricky and at times I was concerned when I realised how many parts i had removed from my car, but well worth it. I needed a quadblock adaptor and an antenna adaptor but it could be different depending on the head unit you are fitting, give me a shout if i can help out any more

    I have a guide to fitting RNS-E and it also includes how to change from single din to double din and the things you'll need in addition to the nav unit.

    I have tried to attach it to this post, here goes...

    Yes I imagine it is. B6 & B7 interiors are practically identical.
