    Question RCD300 being choosy – 16-05-2010,09:53 PM
    My Passat has the standard RCD300 fitted, and it seems to be really choosy about which CD's it will play, and skips on a few CD's that play perfectly well in other players.

    Are these units known for being a bit choosy, or have I got a pending laser failure?

    tbh i thought it was just mine, some cd's you can put them in and it will play them right away but others can take 15/20 seconds before anything and afew times it just spits them out at you, i started to put it down to the headunit not liking Greenday lol

    Ah, so they are a bit choosy then - all the more reason for me to get the finger our and get the iPod connection fitted then
