53 Plate Audi A4 Avant 1.9tdi Issues

Hi,

Just looking for some advice regarding some problems I am having with my Audi.

I am getting the usual Audi smoke when driving although it does appear to be getting darker. The car does not sit at say 80 very well it almost feel like the engine is limiting itself and starts to hold back. When you put your foot down it goes away no problem so I am pretty confused by this.

MPG is not great and seems to be down around 35MPG even when I sit at 60 average.

Can anyone advise please whether this is a turbo issue or perhaps something else? The car is fully serviced with the last full service only 500 miles ago.

Your car is going into limp mode,to protect your engine,get it scaned for fault codes.

Is the best place to do this at the Audi garage as my nearest is 50 miles away? Will local garages have the equipment to do this or is it just the dealers?

Most independents have the equipment do diagnose faults, usually a lot cheaper than main dealers!
