TDI power outputs

I think i know the answer to this question but would like your stamp of approval.....

Am i right in saying that the 1.9tdi engine in the older shape A3 was available with 3 different outputs. and if so does anyone have the engine codes for each...

A friend of mine is looking for 1, and wants to make sure she is getting the right car for the right money...

90bhp, 110bhp and a 140bhp??? (all VE engines)

I dont think the PD engines were around for the old shape, but i may be wrong....

The old shape (8L) A3 1.9TDI was available in 4 different outputs:

90hp, 101hp, 110hp and 130hp. I only know the engine code for the 130hp version which is ASZ (I have one!). The 130hp version also came with a 6-spd manual gearbox as standard. The 130hp version was only available after mid-2001 if that helps. I don't know what you mean by "VE" engines, if you meant to write VW (the letter E is close to the W on the keyboard ) then yes, they were all VW group engines.
