Blackberry Connectivity

I know this has probably been covered a hundred times, but I cannot find any threads with my problem. I’ve just treated all the staff to new Blackberry 8520’s

My old Nokia worked fine with the Bluetooth in the car, but for some reason the MMI will not pick up and read the SIM card numbers from the Blackberry. The basic phone functions work fine, but for some reason it won’t display names when receiving calls and won’t let me enter my phone book to find numbers.

I am a bit of a technophobe when it comes to these things, so go easy!

Similar issues with Blackberries have been reported in the past, and there seems to be a set procedure to get things working.

Having said all that, my Blackberry 8310 Curve connected fine first go!

After many hours disconnecting and re-connecting I am still without my phone book in the car!

I’ll try and get into the local dealer to see if they can help.
