What do you reckon 2 these faults on a car nearly 3 year old and covered 90k fvwsh (tdi 130)
    recirculation motor defective
    water pump leaking
intermittent loss of performance (mass meter ok boost valve ok)
anti roll bar links worn out
    Resonance from airbox area
noise like leaves rustling coming from bottom of windscreen area
    Its a vw ?

Recirc motor...unlucky, never heard of one of them failing

Water pump leaking...it should have been changed at the 60000 mile cambelt change, if it was your very unlucky..if not its done its bit.

Loss of performance...could be the vanes on the turbocharger sticking

Roll bar links...if its the original ones you've done well to get that much mileage out them

Resonance...mine did this too, found out it was the inner wheel liner vibrating/rubbing against the front subframe seam. Small piece of foam between the 2 was all it took to stop it, most annoying and it should'nt happen on a VW.

Leaves noise...think its the water surging through the heater pipes/heater your hearing, i hear this on mine too tho it isn't loud.

Your car is the same year as mine (tdi 130 Sport) but with alot more miles. I think the vw warranty only does 3 years 60000 miles, but don't quote me on this. If its unlimited mileage then you've got a case...if its 60000 miles its counted as a 'goodwill' thing and your lucky to get anything.

    hope this helps

I'm guessing you're talking about the rubber links here, what are the symptoms please?........I have noisy front suspension but can't find any play anywhere but it reminds me of u/s anti roll bar rubbers on a Vectra I had.

symptom is a faint knocking from nsf wheel area when turning steering wheel. I have looked at all bushes and links and everything looks fine, no splits or apparent damage

Gaz, i'm talking about the 2 aluminium drop links at the end of the roll bar..tho it could also be the rubber bushes at that mileage. Incidently if your getting a creaking noise coming from the front then its most definetly the track control arms ball joints...they are well renowned for this fault. There are four of them...all available on ebay...

It's all rattly and horrible at low speeds on rough road, the drop links which you are referring to are rubber bushed on mine (I think), not the old "track rod at each end type", but my guess is it's anti roll bar causing all the noise.
