    can anyone tell me what chassis the c5 shares witht the passat please as the susspension seems cheaper

    I think the suspensions are different.

    Have you had a look at vagcat to compare the different models? It should help you figure out it Passat suspension will fit on an A6, which I doubt very much to be honest.
