Reversing camera interference

Has anyone had any interference problems with their reversing camera? I bought a TV last week and the shop didn’t disable to the security tag. After I put the TV in the boot and the reversing camera didn’t work (the screen was full of purple fuzzy lines). Even after I took the TV out of the boot when I got home the screen didn’t work (although the TV was only a few metres from the car). The next day all was back to normal (no electronic devices nearby) and it's been fine ever since.

I assumed the camera was hardwired to the stereo unit but maybe it’s wireless (I seem to remember you can’t spec the DAB radio and the camera - maybe that's the reason?).

Apart from that one minor problem I’d thoroughly recommend the camera/RCD510 upgrade

I think it is hard wired, but radio interference on a poorly sheilded cable would stop the camera from working / or make it fuzzy.
