Just taken delivery of my new A6 Avant 2.0TDI and have natutally spent the evening sat in the car having a play

One thing I've noticed is that the CD MMI ( I have the colour screen version) doesnt tend to recognise the CD title or tracks, I've checked that its set to "on" in the system settings, but even recent CD's like Stadium Archadium dont dispay any details. Only Dark Side of the Moon does. I've even tried Brothers in Arms, which is one CD used as an example in the manual. Any ideas gratefully received.

Initial impressions is that this is a great car by the way, makes 2 Audis in the household now, my wifes M Reg 2.6 Avant has clocked 188,000 Miles
    Cheers
    Rich

    Hi Rich
I too am surprised to find that several CD's only show tracks (All so far) as merely identified as Track 1, 2 etc. without description. Did you ever resolve this issue on your unit?
My unit is 04/2008 - 6 cd Changer in glove box displaying via MMI Navigation+ on centre screen console

Incidentally I have a query re; retro-fit Cruise Control and wonder if you can help, having read some previous posts on the subject, I reckon you know a 'little bit' about Audi's

Having checked the car, there's nothing to indicate which MMI, other than central console is marked 'Audi Navigation plus' and has 2 SD slots behind. Mine's not the very latest 2008 model and 6 CD changer is in glove box.
